The art of mosaics challenges me to recreate natural forms and shapes using an ancient medium which traditionally used square tiles.

The pieces below are all handmade from scratch. For the mirror and mosaic tray, I used a glass cutter to create leaf and teardrop shapes from pieces of mirror and iridized glass, and arranged them into natural forms before setting them with grout.
