With a background in Interior Design and Fine Arts, Safia’s journey into the world of floristry was a natural progression. The love of colour, texture and design drew her in and has opened up doors of possibilities, such as collaborating with international photographers on photoshoots, attending workshops in Europe and working with renowned florists in Australia and the UK.
Safia has a passion for learning new skills such as styling, photography, making mosaics, running workshops and public speaking. Hearing other people’s stories and journeys truly inspires her, which is why she has started a series of interviews with fellow creatives, shedding light on their process and mediums. She is currently undertaking a freelance writing course to expand her writing skills.
When she’s not doing any of the above, you’ll find her flipping through recipe books and baking up a storm, thanks to her ridiculous sweet tooth. Either that or hunting down the next best café in her hometown, Melbourne, to sample buttery pastries.
